Are you ready for a short-length anime featuring tennis? If not, good, because this seems to have more of everything else than tennis (the title means tennis!).

Join the tennis team featuring Marimo, Kanae, Nasuno and Yuri who, despite loving tennis, don't actually play it much. Instead they go around and do crazy things both in and out of high school in episodes which seem to be named after movie titles, which shows just how random each episode can be. And if that doesn't get you to watch Teekyu, you're missing out on some fun crazy time!

Each episode is 2 minutes long, but don't let that fool you. They're that fast paced that one blink will make you miss like 30 seconds worth of an episode compacted in 10 seconds worth of air time. Think of this as a Lucky Star-type anime, but with an entire episode squeezed into 2 minutes and added Gintama-like craziness. Yes, that's how awesome Teekyu is. Some people even pause at points so they can read what everyone is saying. Mind you, there are times when the episode is slightly slower, and the difference is so obvious!

The randomness is the reason why you'll probably be sitting there wondering what in the world you're watching, and will be surprised when tennis is actually mentioned in those rare and random moments. And you're not the only one thinking that. But you'll come to love the anime for what it is, and you can happily sit there watching each season without getting tired of it. After all, they're bite-sized chunks. What can go wrong?

Clearly there is a reason why Teekyu has new episodes coming out: it's that awesome. If you like anime such as Lucky Star and Gintama, and possibly Military! (panstu everywhere!), then you are so in for a treat.
